Click System administration > Periodic > E-mail processing > E-mail sending status.

Use this form to view the status of outgoing email messages. By default, the list shows email messages that have not yet been sent. However, you can also view email messages that were sent successfully.

From this form, you can also display an email message and restart the Retry schedule if a message was not sent through Microsoft Dynamics AX.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Restart send

Restart sending the selected email message by resetting the Retry schedule.

If the system has not sent the selected email message according to the Retry schedule, you can click the Restart send button to restart the Retry schedule.

You set up the retry schedule to send the email message after 1 minute, 1 hour, and 5 hours. None of the three tries was successful. Therefore, the system has stopped trying. When you click Restart send, the system will start again and try to send the email message after 1 minute, 1 hour, and 5 hours.
