Bill of lading items (form)

This topic applies to features in the Inventory management module. It does not apply to features in the Warehouse management module.

Click Sales and marketing > Inquiries > Distribution > Bill of lading. Click Bill of lading items.

Use this form to specify item information for a bill of lading.

Navigating the form

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Tab	Description
Overview tab	View, edit, or create bill of lading items.
General tab	View or add information to the bill of lading item selected on the Overview tab tab.

Field	Description
Bill of lading	Identification of the bill of lading.
Handling quantity	Quantity in the handling unit. If the items are packed on pallets, specify the number of pallets here, and select Pallet as the handling unit.
Handling unit	Description of the unit that the quantity being processed is specified in.
Package quantity	Quantity in inventory units.
Package unit	Description of the unit that the packing quantity is specified in.
Package appearance	Specify how items are packed, for example in cartoons, boxes, pallets. You can define package appearances in the Package appearance form.
Weight	Total weight of the items with this item number on this bill of lading.
Hazardous material	Specifies whether the item should be handled as hazardous goods.
Describe items	Identification of the item on the bill of lading.
