Click Human resources > Setup > Time and attendance > Calculation parameters.

Use this form to set up parameters that are necessary for the calculation of workers’ time registrations and wages in time and attendance. The calculation depends on the worker’s registrations and the contents of the work time profile and the pay agreement set up for the worker.

Use caution when changing these parameters. For more information, see About parameters for calculations.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Description

General tab

Displays the parameters for the selected combination of Reg. specification and Profile specification type.

Note

Reg. specification relates to the registrations made during a work day by a worker. Profile specification type relates to the profile types set up in a work time profile. The profile types are used to divide a work day into different types of time, for example, standard time, break time, and overtime. The profile used for a worker on a work day depends on the setup of profile groups and profiles.

Standard time

Select this check box if this combination of Reg. specification and Profile specification type must be included in the calculated Standard time.

Pay time

Select this check box if this combination of Reg. specification and Profile specification type must be included in the calculated Pay time.

Pay overtime

Select this check box if this combination of Reg. specification and Profile specification type must be included in the calculated Pay overtime.

Legal absence

Select this check box if this combination of Reg. specification and Profile specification type must be included in the calculated Legal absence.

Illegal absence

Select this check box if this combination of Reg. specification and Profile specification type must be included in the calculated Illegal absence.

Flex+

Select this check box if this combination of Reg. specification and Profile specification type must be included in the calculated Flex+.

Flex-

Select this check box if this combination of Reg. specification and Profile specification type must be included in the calculated Flex-.

Pay time

Select this check box if this combination of Reg. specification and Profile specification type must be included in Pay time when calculating pay items.

Pay overtime

Select this check box if this combination of Reg. specification and Profile specification type must be included in Pay overtime when calculating pay items.

Break

Select this check box if this combination of Reg. specification and Profile specification type must be included in Break when calculating pay items.

Flex-

Select this check box if this combination of Reg. specification and Profile specification type must be included in Flex- when calculating pay items.

Flex+

Select this check box if this combination of Reg. specification and Profile specification type must be included in Flex+ when calculating pay items.

Premiums

Select this check box if this combination of Reg. specification and Profile specification type must be included in Premiums when calculating pay items.

Absence

Select this check box if this combination of Reg. specification and Profile specification type must be included in Absence when calculating pay items.
