Open customer transactions (form) [AX 2012]

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

Click Accounts receivable > Common > Customers > All customers. Select a customer account. On the Action Pane, click Transactions, and then click Open.

Use this form to perform the following tasks:

  • View the open customer transactions that are related to the transaction that you selected in the Customer transactions form.

  • Manage the expected payment flow. You can change the due date, cash discount date, and cash discount amount.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

View or change the open customer transactions that are related to the voucher.

General

View information for the selected open transaction.

Cash discount

View or change the cash discount details for the selected open transaction.

Collections

View collections status, interest, and collection letter information about the selected transaction.

Fields

Description

Amount

The transaction amount, in the accounting currency.

Amount in transaction currency

The transaction amount, in the invoice currency.

Due date

Enter or view the date that the transaction is due.

Deadline

Enter or view the date by which you must receive confirmation from the bank that the payment has been made.

Cash discount date

The cash discount date that will be used when the customer transaction is created. If an invoice is settled in time to obtain a cash discount, the cash discount is automatically posted to the ledger account that is specified for the cash discount. For more information, see About cash discounts.

Cash discount amount

The cash discount amount that will be included in the transaction when the invoice is settled.

Customer account

The customer account number.

Date

The transaction date.

Collection letter

If this check box is selected, a collection letter can be printed for this customer transaction.

Collection letter

The collection letter number for the transaction.

Collection letter code

The collection letter code that is included on the collection letter for the transaction.

Date

The transaction date for the collection letter.

Valid collection letter code

The collection letter code to use for the next collection letter for the transaction.

You can select a collection letter code only if you are working with an open customer transaction.
