Post tag journal (class form)

Click Inventory management > Journals > Item counting > Tag counting. Click Lines, and then click Post.

Use this form to post the tag journal and create a counting journal based on the tag journal lines. If the same item number exists on several lines in the tag journal, it is summed up into one line in the new counting journal.

Select

Create a query to select which zero lines should be created in the counting journal. For example, if you tag-count a specific warehouse, you might want to see lines only for items that have no on-hand quantity. If you tag-count serial numbers for a specific item, you might query on the item number to find serial numbers that are missing.

Caution

The query has no effect if the Simulation check box is selected and the Zero lines check box is not selected.

Transfer all posting errors to a new journal

Select this check box to have transaction lines that cause an error transferred to a new journal when they are posted.

Zero lines

Select this check box to create lines for items that have no on-hand quantity.

Simulation

Select this check box to see only the expected adjustments before the actual posting.
