Click Inventory management > Periodic > Release transfer order picking.
Use this form to select, activate and post transfer backorders that can be delivered.

Click Deliver remainder in order to update the remaining quantity to be released for picking. |
Trace orders |
Click to open the Trace orders form. This allows you to list the orders and reservations on the selected item. |

Allows you to perform various inventory related functions. |
Recalculate |
Update the selected transfer order lines with current/updated information, for example, on-hand quantity. |
Inquiries |
Make inquiries on the selected transfer order. |

Deduct released for picking |
Select to deduct from the on-hand inventory those items that are not reserved on the picking list or output order the next time that you click Select to update the displayed order lines. |
Ship dates |
Date range selected in the query. If nothing is displayed then all dates are relevant. |
Date |
Date the form was last updated with new data or a calculation. |
Time |
Time when the form was last updated with new data or a calculation. |
Ship date |
View the date the items should be shipped from the shipping point. |
Transfer number |
Transfer order number that the line is attached to. |
From warehouse |
Warehouse from which the items are transferred. |
To warehouse |
Warehouse to which items are transferred. |
Item number |
Item's identification code. |
Inventory unit |
Inventory stock-keeping unit. |
Activate remainder |
Quantity of items from the transfer order line, in inventory units, that are not yet activated. |
Activate now |
Quantity you want to activate. Any quantity you enter in inventory units is automatically reserved from the physical quantity unless it is already reserved. You can also use the options under the Activation button to clear or populate this field. |
All orders can be delivered |
Select to deliver all orders with the same item number and storage dimensions (storage location) using the current on-hand inventory. |
Requires allocation |
Select to indicate that there is insufficient on-hand inventory to cover the allocation for all transfer backorders. |
Production order exists |
Select to indicate that production backorders need the same item. |
Sales order |
Select to indicate that sales orders exist for this item. |
Possible delivery percentage |
Percentage of lines within an order that have the All orders can be delivered check box selected. |
Transfer status |
Status of a transfer order. |
Reserve items automatically |
Items are reserved automatically at the warehouse in the From warehouse field for transfer to the warehouse in the To warehouse field. |
Mode of delivery |
Mode of delivery for the transfer order, set up using the Modes of delivery form. |
Delivery terms |
Terms of delivery for the transfer order, set up using the Terms of delivery form. |
Delivery date control |
There is automatic calculation of possible ship and receipt dates. For more information, see About delivery dates. |
ATP time fence |
Time period in days, going forward from today, for calculating ATP. Note This only applies if the delivery date control is set to ATP or ATP + Issue margin. |
ATP backward demand time fence |
Time period in days, going backward from today, for considering delayed demand orders in ATP calculation. Note This only applies if the delivery date control is set to ATP or ATP + Issue margin. |
ATP backward supply time fence |
Time period in days, going backward from today, for considering delayed supply orders in ATP calculation. Note This only applies if the delivery date control is set to ATP or ATP + Issue margin. |
ATP delayed demand offset time |
Time period in days, going forward from today, when delayed demand orders are considered an issue. Note This only applies if the delivery date control is set to ATP or ATP + Issue margin. |
ATP delayed supply offset time |
Time period in days, going forward from today, when delayed supply orders are considered an issue. Note This only applies if the delivery date control is set to ATP or ATP + Issue margin. |
ATP incl. planned orders |
If this check box is selected, planned orders are included in the ATP calculation. Note This only applies if the delivery date control is set to ATP or ATP + Issue margin. |
Receipt date |
Planned receipt date for the transfer order. |
UPS zone |
Freight zone information. |
Call tag type |
Identification of the freight company. |
Transfer quantity |
Quantity of items to be transferred, in inventory units. The inventory unit is set up on the Released products form. Click Product information management > Common > Released products. Select a product and then click Edit. Set the unit on the Manage inventory Fast Tab in the Inventory group. You cannot specify a negative transfer quantity or specify the line in another inventory unit. |
Shipped quantity |
Quantity of a transfer order line that has been shipped until now. The field is updated after every shipment update. |
Picked |
Quantity that has been picking list updated and therefore has the picked status. |
Reserved physical |
Total quantity of the item that was physically reserved for the dimension. |
Reserved ordered |
Quantity reserved from the quantity ordered on the order line. |
Reservation quantity |
Quantity to be reserved from the ordered quantity. This appears in the Reserved ordered field. |
Picking list reserved |
Reserved quantity from all the picking lists. |
Picking list not reserved |
Unreserved quantity from all the picking lists. |
Ship remain |
Remaining quantity to be shipped after the last shipment update. |
Product name |
Short description of the item on the selected order line. |
Physical inventory |
Physical quantity in the inventory. |
Physical reserved |
Quantity of the item that is reserved out of the total quantity that is physically available. Note The quantity in this field is not limited to reservations for the current transfer order. |
Available physical |
Available quantity (not reserved) from the physical inventory. |
Picking list not reserved |
Unreserved quantity from all the picking lists. |
Available for activation |
On-hand quantity that is available for activation. |
