Inventory order (form)

This topic applies to features in the Inventory management module. It does not apply to features in the Warehouse management module.

Click Inventory management > Inquiries > Transactions > Transactions. Select a line that references an input pallet transport. On the General tab, right-click the Inventory reference field, and then click View details.

Use this form to display information about inventory orders of the type Pallet transport found in the system. This information is always associated with a pallet transport.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

View a list of the inventory orders of the type Pallet transport.

General tab

View information about the inventory order selected on the Overview tab tab.

Shipment

View additional information about the shipment such as delivery, transport, and quantity.

Quantity details

View details about the quantities assigned to the inventory order.

Fields

Field

Description

Lot ID

The lot number for the transaction that is associated with the inventory order.

Inventory order

The identification of the inventory order.

Item number

The item number that is associated with the inventory order. Create the item number in the Item form.

Configuration

Select an item configuration to specify an item with specific attributes.

Size

Specify the size of the item

Color

Specify the color of the item.

Warehouse

Enter the warehouse in which you will store your items.

Inventory order quantity

The total quantity for the inventory order.

Type

The order type for the inventory order.

Reference

The module that the inventory order originates from.

Number

The number of the reference specified in the Reference field.

Customer

Identification of the customer who is to receive the items. This is only relevant if the inventory order refers to a sales order.

Batch number

Enter the Batch number dimension. If you select Edit lines and Explode lines in the upper section of the Receive form, you can modify the batch number for the transfer order line.

Location

The location inside a warehouse. If you select Edit lines and Explode lines in the upper section of the Receive form, you can modify the location number for the transfer order line.

Pallet ID

The unique ID for the pallet (Serial Shipping Container Code).

Serial number

The serial number dimension. If you select Edit lines and Explode lines in the upper section of the Receive form, you can modify the serial number for the transfer order line.

Requested ship date

The delivery date for the inventory order.

Mode of delivery

The means of transport used when delivering an order from seller to buyer. Modes of delivery are printed on customer invoices.

Delivery terms

Specify the conditions for carrying the item from seller to buyer.

UPS zone

Optional freight zone information.

You can specify a freight zone that is used to manually calculate freight expenses.

Call tag type

The Call tag list lets you request a pickup via UPS for Returned items. You transmit the request to UPS, and the UPS driver takes the return label to the pickup location. At the pickup location, the UPS driver collects the package and returns it to your company.

Note

The Call tag list is only relevant for Returned order orders.

Requested quantity

The original issue quantity that was requested based on the issue reference line.

Inventory

Open a menu with the following items:

  • Transactions – View the inventory transactions for the item or the lot.

  • On-hand – View the on-hand inventory for the current item by inventory dimensions.

  • Lot – View inventory transactions on the current lot.

  • Dimensions display – Select which inventory dimensions must appear in the actual form.
