Click Product information management > Common > Product builder > Product models. Select a product model. On the Action pane, in the Modify group, click Open. Nodes can be created and added to product models in the lower portion of the Product model form.

A Switch node is useful for making decisions based on the value of a variable. The variable that is used for this purpose is called the Switch value. After you insert a Switch node into a product model, you should insert one or more case nodes into the Switch node. Each of the inserted case nodes represents a possible outcome of the Switch value. The actions defined under each Case node are performed only if the Switch value is equal to the specific value of the Case node.
