Special calculation (class form) [AX 2012]

Click Cost accounting > Periodic > Special calculation.

Use this form to initiate a special calculation on a calculation version that you set up in the Calculation versions form.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Overview

View or modify the Calculation version parameters to apply when you run the special calculation.

General

Select the dimensions and cost value types for the selected calculation version. For more information, see Enter criteria on the General tab.

Batch

View or modify the setup options for a batch job. For more information, see Submit a batch processing job from a form.

Field

Description

Calculation version

Select the calculation version to make a special calculation for.

Description

The description of the selected calculation version.

Date interval code

Select a date interval code to indicate the date range for the special calculation.

From date

Select the starting date for the calculation to run, if the date is not included in the date interval code that you selected.

To date

Select the ending date to run the calculation, if the date is not included in the date interval code that you selected.

Budget model

Select the budget model to use for the calculation.

Forecast range

The target forecast range that is used for this calculation, if the budget has the Flexible budgeting type.

Calculate dimensions

Confirm the dimensions that have been set up for calculation on this calculation version. A confirmation identifies the dimensions that are processed in the special calculation.

Calculate cost value types

Confirm the cost value types that have been set up for calculation on this calculation version. This calculation version is processed in the special calculation.
