Rates (form) [AX 2012]

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

Click Human resources > Setup > Time and attendance > Payroll > Pay types. Click Rates.

Use this form to create pay rates for pay types. The rates are set up to be valid for a specific period of time.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Description

Overview tab

Create, delete or edit rates.

General tab

View information about a specific rate.

Button

Description

Worker rates

Create specific rates for individual workers.

Change pay

Create a new period for a rate.

Field

Description

Pay type

The pay type for which you are setting up a rate.

From date

Start date for this rate.

To date

End date for this rate.

Rate

The hourly pay for this pay type.

Reference

The pay type that the rate of this pay type is based on.

TipTip

Use this function if overtime pay is calculated as a percentage of standard hourly pay.

Percent

Enter a percentage of the reference pay type for calculating the rate for this pay type.
