Transaction reorganizing (form) [AX 2012]

Use this form to reorganize an open customer or vendor transaction. The open transaction can be divided into several new transactions that have new due dates.

Click Accounts receivable > Common > Customers > All customers. Select a customer account. On the Action Pane, on the Collect tab, click Settle open transactions to open the Settle open transactions form. Click Transaction reorganizing.

Click Accounts payable > Common > Vendors > All vendors. Select a vendor account. On the Action pane, on the Invoice tab, click Settle open transactions to open the Settle open transactions form. Click Transaction reorganizing.

You can also open the form from the journals in which you settle transactions, such as the Payment journal form.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

View or modify the due date, percentage, and amount fields for the new open transactions.

View the Overview tab information for the selected line.

Accept

When the Remainder field displays 0.00, accept the changes, close the form, and view or modify the reorganized transactions in the Settle open transactions form.

Payment schedule

Reorganize the transactions by using a payment schedule.

Field

Description

Percentage/Amount

Select whether to reorganize by percentage or amount.

Amount in transaction currency

The total amount to be distributed among the new transactions.

Remainder

The remaining amount or percentage to be distributed as you enter reorganized lines.

Due date

Enter or view the due date for the new transaction.

Percent

Enter or view the percentage of the original open transaction to be moved to the new transaction. This field is available if you select Percent in the Percentage/Amount field.

Amount in transaction currency

Enter or view the amount of the original open transaction to be moved to the new transaction. This field is available if you select Amount in the Percentage/Amount field.
