Explode BOM lines in sales order (form)
Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012
Click Sales and marketing > Common > Sales orders > All sales orders. Open or create a sales order. In the Sales order form, on the Sales order lines FastTab, click Sales order line > BOM lines.
Use this form to explode a bill of materials (BOM) item that is entered on a sales order line, and to select which lines to include in the sales order.
Note
After a BOM line is exploded, no links exist between the sales order lines.

The item number. |
Configuration |
The configuration of the item. |
Product name |
The name of the item. The item name is entered in the Released product details form. |
Quantity |
The quantity in the sales unit of the item ordered. |
Unit |
The unit of the measure of the item. |
Select all |
Select the check box to display all BOM lines in the sales order. |
Mark |
Select the check box if you want to display the line in the sales order. |
Item number |
The identification number of the item in the sales order unit. |
Configuration |
The configuration dimension of the item. |
Size |
The size dimension of the item. |
Color |
The color dimension of the item. |
Site |
The identifier of the site. |
Warehouse |
The identifier of the warehouse. |
Per series |
The number of units that the value in the Quantity field is valid for. |
Type |
The type of the BOM line. |
