Forecast - item group (form)

Click Inventory management > Periodic > Forecast > Entry > Item groups.
Use this form to view a list of item groups and to see whether there are existing forecast lines for each item group. An existing forecast is indicated when the Supply forecast check box or the Demand forecast check box is selected.
You can also access the Supply forecast and Demand forecast forms to create new forecast lines or update existing ones.

Open the Demand forecast form to create a forecast or update an existing forecast for the selected item group. |
Inventory forecast |
For an item group that has an existing supply or demand forecast, open the Inventory forecast form to view projected inventory transactions and balances. |

Item group |
An identifying code for the Item group. |
Name |
A descriptive name for the Item group. For example, the name that is used on reports. |
Demand forecast |
An indicator of whether a demand forecast exists for the selected item group. |
Supply forecast |
An indicator of whether a supply forecast exists for the selected item group. |
