Create template (form)

Open a record to use as a template for new records. Right-click in the form and select Record info. To create a template that is available to only you, click User template. To create a template that is available to all users who have permission to create a new record from the template that you are creating, click System template or Company accounts template.

Use this form to create new record templates, which can be used to help create specific types of records quickly. You can create record templates for only some of the record types in Microsoft Dynamics AX.
