Mass update (form)

Click Fixed assets > Periodic > Mass update.

Use this form to update the depreciation convention for a group of fixed assets.

Task that uses this form

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Tab	Description
General	Enter the depreciation information, period information, and depreciation convention information for the assets.
Batch	View and enter information about the batch.

Button	Description
Select	Open the Mass update report form, where you can print the report.
Destinations ...	Open the Print destination settings form, where you can select where to print the report.
Recurrence	Open the Recurrence form, where you can enter recurring information for the batch.
Alerts	Open the Set up alerts for batch jobs form, where you can set up an alert for a specific batch job.

Field	Description
Depreciation book	The depreciation book that contains the assets to be updated.
Placed in service start	The starting placed-in-service date.
Placed in service end	The ending placed-in-service date.
Current depreciation convention	The depreciation convention that is currently assigned to the assets.
New depreciation convention	The depreciation convention that will be assigned to the assets.
Fixed asset number	The asset to update. If this field is blank, all assets that meet the criteria will be updated.
Fixed asset group	The fixed asset group to update. If this field is blank, the assets that are selected for the process will not be restricted by the fixed asset group.
