Click Home > Periodic > Microsoft Outlook synchronization > Synchronize.

Use this form to manage the synchronization of your contacts, tasks, or appointments between Microsoft Dynamics AX and Microsoft Outlook.

When an activity from Microsoft Dynamics AX is synchronized with Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft Exchange Server, information that is related to the activity, such as prospects, contact persons, campaigns, and call lists, is added to the appointment or task body text in Outlook or Exchange Server.

Note

In Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 Cumulative Update 8 and later, your organization can let you synchronize your data for contacts, tasks, and appointments by using Exchange Server instead of Outlook. The controls in this form are the same for both versions.

Select the ending date for the synchronization with Outlook or Exchange Server.

Force synchronization

Force the synchronization process to synchronize all tasks, appointments, and contacts between Microsoft Dynamics AX and Outlook or Exchange Server.
