Period status (form)

Click Human resources > Common > Workers > Workers. On the Action Pane, on the Project management tab, in the View group, click Period status.

Click Organization administration > Common > Calendars > Period types. On the menu bar, click Periods. In the Period transactions form, click the Period status button.

In Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 or cumulative update 7 or later for AX 2012 R2: Click Project management and accounting > Common > Project resources > Resources. On the Action Pane, on the Project resource tab, in the Maintain group, click Period status.

Use this form to review how fully a worker was utilized in a given period.
If you open the form from the Worker form in the Human resources module, the utilization hours for the current worker are shown.
If you open the form from the Periods form in the Organization administration module, the utilization hours for all workers are shown.
Note
If a worker has been loaned to another legal entity for project work, the project hours that they enter for its projects are reflected in this period status report. Workers can be loaned to other legal entities only if intercompany timesheet support has been enabled for your legal entity.

The end date of the period. |
Worker |
The names of workers for whom the selected period is defined. |
Posted on |
The date on which the last voucher was posted. |
Calendar |
The number of hours based on the worker period. |
Realized finish |
All posted hours for the worker period. |
Consumed hours |
All billable and efficient hours that are posted to the calculation. |
Not included hours |
All hours that are not included in the Consumed hours totals. Hours are excluded based on settings made in the Hour utilization section of the Project parameters form. |
Burden hours |
All hours that are included in the total hours calculation as burden hours. Burden hours are included based on settings made in the Hour utilization section of the Project parameters form. |
Norm hours |
The norm hours that are entered on the worker’s individual period status. Note Norm hours are determined by the company as the acceptable utilization hours for a given period. When calculating the utilization rate from the worker view, you can use the norm hours. |
Utilization hours |
All hours that are included in the total hours calculation as utilization hours. Utilization hours are included based on settings made in the Hour utilization section of the Project parameters form. |
Utilization rate percentage |
The worker’s overall utilization rate, which indicates what percentage of a worker's overall time has been utilized effectively. |
