Submit a batch processing job from a form

Adjustment date

Enter the date on which the inventory was closed. The system date is used as the default adjustment date.

Select the specification to determine the level of detail that is posted to the general ledger:

  • Total – Adjustments are posted for all items that have the same settings in the posting profile.

  • Item group – Adjustments are posted for all items based on the item group.

  • Item number – Adjustments are posted for each item.

Update ledger

Select the check box to post the adjustment in the ledger.

If you do not select the check box, you cannot reconcile the inventory and the ledger. Therefore, you must determine the need for reconciliation before you decide not to update the ledger.

Enter any notes about the adjustment. This note is shown in the Closing and adjustment form.
