Template BOMs (form)

Click Service management > Setup > Service objects > Template BOMs.

Use this form to maintain template BOMs.

Tasks that use this form

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Tab	Description
General	View details on individual template BOMs.

Button	Description
Designer	Open the BOM Designer to edit the selected template BOM.

Field	Description
Template BOM	Identification of the template BOM.
Item number	Identification of the item of the type BOM on which the template is based.
From date and To date	The period during which the template is to be used. Optional.
Name	The name of the template.
Product dimension	View the configuration size and color specified for the BOM item.
BOM reference type	View whether the template BOM is created manually or based on a BOM, another template BOM, or a production BOM.
Reference number	Displays the BOM, template BOM, or production BOM that forms the basis of the current template BOM.
BOM date	The date where the BOM or production BOM is copied into the template BOM. The BOM date indicates what version of the BOM you have applied. If you do not specify another date when you create the template BOM, the current date is applied.
