Service task relations (form)
Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012
Click Service management > Common > Service orders > Service orders. Select a service order, and on the Action Pane click the Service tasks button.

Click Service management > Common > Service agreements > Service agreements. Select a service agreement, and on the Action Pane click the Service tasks button.
Use this form to create service task relations by attaching one or more service tasks to the selected service agreement or service order.
After you create a service task relation, you can attach a reference to the service task on the service agreement or service order lines.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Note If you modify the internal note from a service order, a new service task relation is created automatically. The new service task relation is visible only from that service order. The original service task relation on the service agreement is not changed. |
External note |
Type an external description of the service task. This description is printed on both internal and external documentation about the service task. Note If you modify the external note from a service order, a new service task relation is created automatically. The new service task relation is visible only from that service order. The original service task relation on the service agreement is not changed. |
