Overtime allocation (form) [AX 2012]

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

Click Human resources > Common > Time and attendance > Approve. In the Approve dialog box, in the Date and Approval group fields, enter the date and the approval group to approve registrations for. In the Approve form, select the worker, and then click Overtime allocation.

Use this form to view the overtime costs that were applied to one or more jobs that caused a worker to work overtime.


If you do not allocate overtime to specific jobs before you approve the registrations, the overtime is applied evenly to the jobs that were carried out while the worker was working overtime.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.



Overview tab

View the amount of overtime that was applied as a percentage to the job.

General tab

View information about the job.




The identifier of the worker.


The date that the overtime was calculated for the worker.


The work time profile that applies to the worker.

Pay overtime

The net amount of overtime to pay for.


The identifier of the job reference. This is used for registration.

Job identification

The identifier of the job. This is used for registration.


The description of the job. This is used for registration.


The calculated time on the registration.


Enter the percentage of total overtime to apply to the selected job.

The total percentage must equal 100.

Start date

The profile date of the registration.
