Select tables (form)
Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012
Click System administration > Common > Data export/import > Definition groups. Select a definition group, and then click Select tables.
Use this form to add or remove tables from a definition group.
Note
The Select tables button is only available if a definition group exists.

Select related tables |
This button is available only if the Specify related tables check box is selected for a table. The Select related tables form allows you to add other tables to the definition group that are related to the selected table through primary and foreign key relationships. |
Export criteria |
This button is available only if the Apply criteria check box is selected for a table. Use the Inquiry form to filter and sort the data imported from a table in the definition group. For more information, see Inquiry (form). |
Fields

Description |

Name of table |
The tables in the definition group. By default, the tables are not sorted. |
Include document references |
Select the check box to include all notes for a table that have been stored in the DocuRef table. |
Apply criteria |
Select the check box to filter and sort the records imported from this table. Enables the Export criteria button so that you can use the Inquiry form to set filters and sorting. |
Specify related tables |
Select the check box to add other tables to the definition group that are related to the selected table through primary and foreign key relationships. Selecting this option enables the Select related tables button. Note Only one table in a definition group can include related tables. Specify related tables functionality is only available for tables in the Framework, Group, Main, Miscellaneous, and Parameter table groups. |
