Connect to project (form) [AX 2012]

Click Sales and marketing > Common > Campaigns > All campaigns. Select the campaign that you want to connect to a project, and then click the General tab. In the Set up group, click Project > Connect to existing project.

Use this form to connect the active campaign to an existing project. Additionally, you can create a new project to track campaign expenses.

To attach the active campaign to an existing project, on the Connect to existing project form, select the project in the Project ID list.

In the Project type field, you can view the type of project that was specified in the Create project form when the project was created.

If documents are attached to the campaign, and these documents must be opened from the Project form, select the Transfer documents to the project check box.

To create a new project to register and monitor campaign expenses and hourly consumption, click Project > New project.

You must specify the details of the project in the appropriate fields. The form includes only fields that are relevant to the type of project that you selected in the Project type field.

If documents are attached to the campaign, and these document must be opened from the Project form, select the Transfer documents to the project check box.
