Click Inventory management > Inquiries > Dimensions > Batches.

Use this form to create batch numbers that are associated with each item number. You can specify the batch number, item number, manufacturing date, and expiration date.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Tabs

Tab	Description
Overview	View a list of batches, and create, delete, or modify batches.
General	View information that is specific to one batch.
Description	Enter a more detailed description of the batch.

Buttons

Button	Description
On-hand	View the on-hand inventory for the current batch.
Transactions	View the transactions for the current batch.
Inquiries	Open a menu that contains the following items: Non conformances – View or create a nonconformance for the batch. Quality orders – View or create quality orders for the batch.
Trace	Track inventory dimensions.

Fields

Field	Description
Batch number	The identifier for a group of related items.
Item number	The identifier for the item number.
Manufacturing date	The manufacturing date of the current batch.
Expiration date	The expiration date of the current batch.
Quality order status	The status of any quality order that is associated with the batch record.
