Click Product information management > Common > Product builder > Product models. On the Action Pane, click the Models tab. In the Setup group, click Graphic.

Use this form to set up the following:

Which modeling variables influence the graphical representation of an item
Which graphic is used by default
Which folder contains all graphics files for the current product
How file names for searching the graphics files are generated

You can also set up intervals for a variable to decrease the number of graphics that you must create.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Tabs

Tab	Description
Overview tab	Select the variables that determine the graphical representation of the configured item.
General tab	View variable-specific settings from the Overview tab.

Buttons

Button	Description
Interval	Set up intervals for the current variable.

Fields

Field	Description
Default graphic	Specify the path and file name of the default graphics file. This graphic is displayed before you enter any values for the modeling variables that influence the item's graphical representation in the user dialog box. It is also displayed if the file that corresponds to your selections is not found.
Path to saved graphics	Specify the full path of the folder where graphics for the current product model are saved. Graphics for all the variable combinations must be created and saved in this folder. If you change the values for variables that are selected in this form, the appropriate graphics from the specified folder are displayed on the Graphics tab of the user dialog box. Note When you create graphics files for a product model, the file names for the different variable combinations must consist of the variable values that are represented by the drawing. Additionally, these values must appear in the appropriate order. For more information about file names, see the description of the File name format field.
File name format	Specify the format of the file names that are generated for graphics based on values that you enter in the user dialog box. The file name must consist of all the variables that you selected in this form. Refer to the variables as %1, %2, and so on. When the file name is generated, percent signs with numbers are replaced by the values that you selected in the user dialog box, and the appropriate file from the folder that you specified in the Path to saved graphics field is used.
Variable	Select the variable that influences the graphical representation of the configured item.
Index	If the variable that you selected in the Variable field belongs to the array group, type its index.
Length	Specify the maximum length of the variable's value in the file name.
