Create consumption proposal (form)

Click Fixed assets > Journals > Depreciation book journal. Select a depreciation book. On the Action Pane, Lines. Select a journal line. Click Proposals > Consumption depreciation. On the Action Pane, click Create consumption proposal

Use this form to create consumption depreciation proposal lines for fixed asset value models that have depreciation profiles with Consumption as the depreciation method.

The fields in the form will change, depending on the selections that you make in the query form.

Note

If you do not enter a specific fixed asset in the Consumption depreciation form, the proposal lines are calculated for all eligible fixed assets.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Open a query in which you can limit and sort the data to include in the proposal process.

If you do not limit the data, all relevant data is included.

OK

Start the proposal process.

Cancel

Delete the entries that you made in the Select query and close the form.

Fixed asset number

The fixed asset number that the proposal is based on.

Fixed asset group

The fixed asset group that the proposal is based on.

Depreciation

Displays Yes if the asset can be depreciated. Otherwise, displays No.

Depreciation book

The fixed asset depreciation book information that the proposal is based on.
