Conditions (form) [AX 2012]

Click Service management > Setup > Repair > Conditions.

Use this form to create conditions that are used in repair lines for service objects. Conditions describe the circumstances under which a problem occurs.


A customer brings an automobile to your repair shop and reports several issues, for which you list conditions:

  • When the brakes are applied, the car makes a noise, and the steering wheel shakes. You add When braking as a condition.

  • The car shakes when it turns corners. You add Turning as a condition.

You must create two repair lines. Select When braking as the condition on the first repair line, and select Turning as the condition on the second repair line.
