Actions (form)

Click Master planning > Common > Actions > Actions.

Use this form to view all item requirements that carry action messages. The action messages were calculated during the last master scheduling.

The following links and tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Description

Overview tab

View a list of item requirements and the corresponding action messages that were calculated.

General tab

View additional information for the selected item requirement, including order details.

Action

View basic information about the selected item requirement plus the corresponding action message details.

Filter

Filter and define the criteria and date range of the item requirements that are displayed on the Overview tab.

Inquiries

Open the following submenu items:

  • Net requirements – View the current requirement profile for the selected item and the corresponding action messages.

  • Explosion – View the item components and the corresponding action messages.

Inventory

Open the following submenu items:

  • On-hand – View the item availability.

  • Dimensions display – Select the item dimensions to display in the form.

Master plan

Select the plan to view in the form.

Fields

Field

Description

Item number

Shows the item number for the current item.

Configuration

Select an item configuration to specify an item with specific attributes.

Size

The size of the item.

Color

The color of the item.

Site

Enter the site where you want to store the items.

Warehouse

Enter the warehouse where you want to store the items.

Batch number

Enter the batch number dimension.

Action

Shows the scheduled action that can be carried out on the current item.

Days

Shows the number of days, positive or negative, that the transaction should be pushed forward or backwards in relation to the futures messages.

To date

The suggested date that the transaction should be postponed or advanced by based on the action message.

With quantity

The suggested quantity of the item by which the transaction should be increased or decreased based on the action message.

To quantity

The suggested quantity of the item that the transaction should be changed to based on the action message.

Number

Identification of sales, purchases, productions, and so on, in the Reference field that the line refers to.

Reference

Shows the origin of the transfer.

Dimension No.

Identify the inventory dimensions to which the item is coverage planned.

Supply forecast

Indicates whether the planned order was generated by the purchase forecast.

Requested date

The original requested delivery date. This is also referred to as the requirement date.

Requirement date

Shows the requirement date for the current transaction, This includes the delivery date for the sales order, the planned ending date for the production order, and the forecast date for the forecast lines, adjusted by any safety margin.

Requirement time

The time the item is required.

Req. quantity

Shows the total requirement quantity in the inventory unit attached to the transaction.

Coverage planned

Shows the quantity currently coverage-planned with regard to the transfer.

Coverage status

The coverage status of the quantity.

Suborder

Indicates whether the planned order is directly derived from the BOM line type.

Action message

This field is marked if the transfer carries action messages.

Action date

Displays the requirement date extended by the calculated number of action days.
