You can use Product builder user profiles to customize Product Builder configuration and Product Builder approval forms for a product model for specific user groups. You can also control the user interface for different types of users when they configure products through the Internet.

User profiles can be used in product models to control which variables a user sees during the configuration process. The user can then determine values for those variables when configuring products.

Users are attached to user profiles in the User profile field on the Product builder user profile form. Click System administration > Common > Users > User relations. Click the Product builder user profile button to open the Product builder user profile form, where you can view user relations.
