Print a map to a file

When you print to a file, you must first determine which printer—for example, a PostScript printer—will ultimately print the file. That printer can be connected to any kind of computer, even if MapPoint is not installed. MapPoint saves the file in the appropriate printer language.

  1. On the File menu, click Print.
  2. Select the Print to file check box.
  3. In the Name box, select the printer that will ultimately print the file, and then click OK.
  4. In the File name box in the Save As dialog box, type a file name.
  5. Click Save.

Note  Remember that copyright rules apply to MapPoint content and maps.
