The Microsoft® Exchange Server Analyzer Tool queries the CIM_Datafile Microsoft Windows® Management Instrumentation (WMI) class to determine whether the MSExchange.UceContentFilter.dll exists in the following path on the Exchange Server:

<path to Exchange server binary files>\MSCFv2\MSExchange.UceContentFilter.dll

In this path, <path to Exchange server binary files> refers to the location of the bin folder.

If MSExchange.UceContentFilter.dll does not exist in this location, the Exchange Server Analyzer displays a best practice recommendation.

It is recommended that the filter update for Microsoft Exchange Intelligent Message Filter is installed on all Exchange Servers that have Intelligent Message Filter installed.
