The Exchange Server Analyzer displays a best practice message if the following conditions are true:

  • ScanMail for Microsoft Exchange Version: 7 is installed.

  • The SharedResPool folder is located in the path of the ScanMail root directory.

It is a best practice to relocate the SharedResPool directory to a drive that is faster than that of the root directory used by ScanMail for Microsoft Exchange.
