The Microsoft® Exchange Server Analyzer Tool queries the Active Directory® directory service to determine the value of the versionNumber attribute for each Exchange Server object. The versionNumber attribute represents the version of Exchange Server that is running on the computer.
The Exchange Server Analyzer also queries the CIM_Datafile Microsoft Windows® Management Instrumentation (WMI) class to determine the value of the Version key for the Exchange Collaboration Data Object (ExCDO) library file, ExCDO.dll. If the Exchange Server Analyzer determines that the Version key for ExCDO.dll has a value equal to 6603.0, a warning is displayed.
An Exchange 2000 Server computer that is running the 6603.0 version of ExCDO.dll indicates that the server is running the August 2004 Version 1 Exchange 2000 Server Post-Service Pack 3 (SP3) update rollup. Version 2 of this update rollup is now available. It is recommended that you install the August 2004 update rollup.
