How to Set Advanced Properties for a Policy

You can specify advanced properties on a policy such as when the policy uses Exchange rich-text format, domains on the policy, and types of auto-responses that can be sent to users in the domain. This procedure outlines how you can set advanced properties for a policy.

Procedure

To set advanced properties for a policy

1. In Exchange System Manager, right-click the policy, and then click Properties.

2. On the Advanced tab (see the following figure), select the appropriate options.

   Note

   Do not select Always use under Exchange rich-text format, unless you are configuring a policy for a domain whose users always use MAPI clients.
