How to View the Status of a Clustered Mailbox Server

This topic explains how to use the Exchange Management Shell to view the status of a clustered mailbox server. From this information, you can determine the host node for a clustered mailbox server, nodes in the cluster that are currently operational, and the services that are currently not functioning because of failures or administrative actions.

Before You Begin

To perform the following procedure, the account you use must be delegated the following:

  • Exchange Server Administrator role and local Administrators group for the clustered mailbox server.

Procedure

To use the Exchange Management Shell to view the status of a clustered mailbox server

  • Run the following command:

    Get-ClusteredMailboxServerStatus -Identity:<Name>
