How to View Performance Counters for Cluster Continuous Replication
Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 will reach end of support on April 11, 2017. To stay supported, you will need to upgrade. For more information, see Resources to help you upgrade your Office 2007 servers and clients.
Applies to: Exchange Server 2007, Exchange Server 2007 SP1, Exchange Server 2007 SP2, Exchange Server 2007 SP3

This topic explains how to view and collect the performance counters for cluster continuous replication (CCR) that are published by the Microsoft Exchange Replication Service. By using performance counters, administrators can determine the progress of the replication.
The replication performance counters are associated with the node hosting the copy, which is the passive node. Depending on which node is currently active, a different set of performance counters may need to be accessed.
To perform this procedure, the account you use must be delegated the following:
Membership in the local Administrators group
For more information about permissions, delegating roles, and the rights that are required to administer Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, see Permission Considerations.
Launch the Performance Monitor by running the following command from a command line:
Click the plus (+) button on the toolbar.
If you are performing this procedure from the passive node, choose Use local computer counters. If you are not performing this procedure from the passive node, then connect to the passive node by entering the name of the passive node in the Select counters from computer field.
Use the Performance object drop-down box to select the MSExchange Replication object.
Choose All instances to view the counters for all storage groups, or choose Select instance from list to specify one or more storage groups.
Note: If no storage groups appear in the instances selection area, then you may be connected to the active node instead of the passive node. You can use the get-ClusteredMailboxServerStatus cmdlet or Cluster Administrator to determine which node currently hosts the clustered mailbox server.
Choose All counters to view all performance counters for replication and replay. Choose Select counters from list to specify one or more specific counters.
Click Add to add the counters to the System Monitor display and begin collecting the performance data.
