This section provides information that will help you manage the Journaling agent in Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 by using commands in the Exchange Management Shell.

Exchange 2010 lets you record all e-mail messages that move through Hub Transport servers. This process, which is called journaling, is required by many companies because of legal and regulatory requirements. In Exchange 2010, Journaling is designed to enable the messaging administrator to feed messaging data into an Exchange mailbox or a third-party archiving solution.
