The Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Management Pack for Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) monitors the Windows Application log on computers that are running Exchange Server 2007 and generates this alert when the event or events specified in the following Details table are logged.

User Action

To resolve this error, follow these steps:

  1. Identify the registry location shown in the event description for which access is denied.

  2. Make sure that the registry location identified in this message has read/write permission to the account under which the Microsoft® Exchange Transport service is running. By default, the Microsoft Exchange Transport service runs under the NT Authority\NetworkService account.
