The Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Management Pack for Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) monitors the Windows Application log on computers that are running Exchange Server 2007 and generates this alert when the event or events specified in the following Details table are logged.

To learn more about this event, do one or more of the following:

  • Review the description of the event that includes the variables specific to your environment. From the MOM Operator Console, select this alert, and then click the Properties tab.

  • Review all events that have been logged that meet the criteria of this MOM alert. From the MOM Operator Console, click the Events tab, and then double-click the event in the list for which you want to review the event description.

Explanation

This Error event indicates that Microsoft® Office Outlook® Web Access did not initialize because the system could not correctly parse the XML file referenced in the event description. The event may occur if any of the following conditions is true:

  • The file is corrupted.

  • The file contains invalid format or entries that are not allowed by Outlook Web Access themes.

User Action

To resolve the error, follow these steps:

  • Replace the themes folder and the default subfolders with the files and folders that are located on the Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 DVD. By default, those files and folders are located in the \Setup\ServerRoles\ClientAccess\owa\version\ folder of the Exchange 2007 DVD.

  • If a custom Outlook Web Access theme is used, re-create all the files that are associated with the custom theme.

  • Make sure that the entries and format that are used in the custom themes files, such as themeinfo.xml, is correct.
