How to View the Properties of a Managed Object in System Center Essentials 2010

Use the following procedure to view the properties of a managed object in System Center Essentials 2010.

To view the properties of a managed object

1. Log on to the computer with an account that is a member of the Administrators role for Essentials 2010.

2. In the Essentials console, click the Administration button.

   Note

   When you run the Essentials console on a computer that is not the Essentials management server, the Connect To Server dialog box appears. In the Server name text box, type the name of the Essentials management server.

3. In the Administration pane, expand Administration, expand Device Management, and then click Management Servers, Agent Managed, Agentless Managed, or Network Devices.

4. In the results pane, right-click the object whose properties you want to view the properties, and then click Properties.
