Echoconfig
Displays messages during the processing of the MS-DOS subsystem Config.nt and Autoexec.nt program information files. If this command is not present, messages are not displayed.

You must add this command to the MS-DOS subsystem Config.nt file. The following example shows how a Config.nt might look:
