Configuring Exchange Server Stress and Performance on a Client Computer

Topic Last Modified: 2006-11-30

This topic explains how to start Exchange Server Stress and Performance. The remaining sub-topics step through the overall task of configuring the tool on a client computer.

  1. Log on to the computer where the Exchange Stress and Performance tool is installed.

  2. Start Exchange Server Stress and Performance (esp.exe). Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Microsoft Exchange, and then click Exchange Stress and Performance. Exchange Stress and Performance opens and displays an unsaved workspace named untitled.ini.

The console pane of an Exchange Server Stress and Performance workspace has a workspace name that refers to the top-level object. The objects under the top-level object represent host computers that run ESP modules.
