Categories Dialog Box

Use this dialog box to subscribe or unsubscribe a database to a policy category.

To open this dialog box

  • In Object Explorer, right-click a database, point to Policies, and then click Categories.

Options

  • Expand column
    Click to expand a policy category. This lists all the policies that are included in the category.

  • Name
    The name of the policy category.

  • Subscribed
    Indicates whether the target has subscribed to the policy category. If this check box is disabled, the policy category is set for Mandate Database Subscriptions. This means that the policy category applies to all databases on the server.

  • Policy
    When policy groups are expanded, displays the policies in the policy category.

  • Enabled
    Indicates whether the policies are enabled or disabled.

  • Execution Mode
    Displays the execution mode of the policy.

  • History
    Click the View History hyperlink to open the Log File Viewer to see the policy history.
