Use the Select File page in the Import Software Updates Catalog Wizard to configure the software updates catalog location when Single Catalog Import is specified on the Select Import Method page. The mandatory field displays with the required field indicator.

This page contains the following elements:

  • File
    Specifies the import location of the software updates catalog. Enter the full path to the catalog, or click Browse to find the location of the catalog. The path to the catalog file can be on the local hard drive (c:\mycatalog\catalog.cab) or UNC path (\\myserver\myshare\catalog.cab). The wizard validates the cabinet file location as it is entered. When validated, the required field indicator no longer displays.

    Note

    Updates Publisher 4.5 provides a proxy server credentials dialog box when the connection fails for the current user. When this dialog box displays, enter the proxy server name, port, and the user name and password for an account that has appropriate proxy server permissions.

  • Previous
    Displays the previous page of the wizard.
  • Next
    Displays the next page of the wizard.
  • Cancel
    Discards the settings and exits the wizard.
