Use the Get-IPAllowListProvider
The IP Allow List provider configuration is used by the Connection Filter agent. The Connection Filter agent relies on the IP address of the remote server that is trying to connect to determine what action, if any, to take on an incoming message. The remote IP address is available to the Connection Filter agent as a by-product of the underlying TCP/IP connection that is required for the SMTP session.
To run the Get-IPAllowListProvider cmdlet, the account you use must be delegated the following:
Exchange Server Administrator role and local Administrators group for the target server
To run the Get-IPAllowListProvider cmdlet on a computer that has the Edge Transport server role installed, you must log on by using an account that is a member of the local Administrators group on that computer.
For more information about permissions, delegating roles, and the rights that are required to administer Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, see Permission Considerations.
The Identity parameter can take a string value, which is the ProviderName value, or the GUID.
To specify the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of the domain controller that writes this configuration change to the Active Directory directory service, include the DomainController parameter on the command. The DomainController parameter is not supported on computers that have the Edge Transport server role installed. The Edge Transport server role writes only to the local ADAM instance.
The following code examples show two Get-IPAllowListProvider commands.
The first command returns all IP Allow List providers configured on the computer.
The second command returns the configuration for a specific IP Allow List provider, Example.com.
Get-IPAllowListProvider Get-IPAllowListProvider -Identity Example.com
