Dismount-Database (RTM)

Use the Dismount-Database cmdlet to dismount a database in a storage group on an Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 mailbox server. You can run this command only if the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service is running.
Syntax
dismount-Database -Identity <DatabaseIdParameter> [-DomainController <Fqdn>]
Detailed Description
To run the Dismount-Database cmdlet, the account you use must be delegated the following:
- Exchange Server Administrator role and local Administrators group for the target server

Example
In this example, the Dismount-Database command is used to dismount the database named "MyDatabase."
Dismount-Database -Identity ExchangeServer1.Contoso.com\MyDatabase
This command will not execute if the mailbox database contains user mailboxes.
