Customize View (RTM)

Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 will reach end of support on April 11, 2017. To stay supported, you will need to upgrade. For more information, see Resources to help you upgrade your Office 2007 servers and clients.

Applies to: Exchange Server 2007

Use the Customize View dialog box to show or hide items in the Microsoft Management Console (MMC). These settings apply to the entire MMC and will be saved with the user's profile when the MMC is closed.

The Customize View dialog box contains the following settings:

  • MMC
Show or hide the following MMC items:

    • Console tree

    • Standard menus (Action and View)

    • Standard toolbar

    • Status bar

    • Description bar

    • Taskpad navigation pads

    • Action pane

For more information about these MMC items, see Hide or display features of a saved MMC console.

  • Snap-in
Show or hide the following snap-in items:

    • Menus

    • Toolbars

For more information about these MMC items, see Hide or display menus and toolbars for snap-ins.

    Note

Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 does not add any menus or toolbars to MMC, so these settings do not affect the default Exchange Management Console. If you create a custom console with multiple snap-ins, these settings apply to all snap-ins.
