Use the Select Referral Server dialog box to select the server on which to create the public folder referral. The dialog box displays all Exchange servers that have public folder databases, including servers running Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 and Exchange 2000 Server.

Important

In a coexistence scenario where Exchange 2003 or Exchange 2000 are deployed in the same organization as Exchange 2007, we recommend that you not move any public folder replicas to Exchange Server 2007 Mailbox servers until the public folder database for all users is located on an Exchange 2007 Mailbox server.

  • Name
    This field displays the name of the server.
  • Site
    This field displays the Active Directory site on which the server resides.
  • Role
    This field displays the server roles that are installed on the server.
