Installing the Speech Application Log Analysis Tools

This topic describes the prerequisites for the Speech Application Log Analysis Tools, and how to install them.

Software Requirements

To install the Speech Application Log Analysis Tools, set up both a server and client as described in the following sections, and then install the tools. The server and client can be on the same computer.

Installing the Speech Application Log Analysis Tools

The Speech Application Log Analysis Tools are only required on the client computer. To install them, run the setup.exe included on the Speech Application SDK CD at the path \Redistributable Installers\Microsoft Log Analysis Tools for Speech Applications. This setup file installs Call Viewer, Speech Application Reports, and the Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Data Transformation Services log import task. The Speech Application Log Analysis Tools will be installed at this path on the client computer: Program Files\Microsoft Speech Application SDK 1.1\SDKTools\Log Analysis\.
