CallStatistics Filter

The CallStatistics filter is on by default after a successful Microsoft Speech Server installation. This filter provides all the information needed for general, day-to-day monitoring of MSS, the telephony interface manager (TIM) software, and the deployed application in a production environment.

By analyzing the data logged under this filter, system administrators and SALT application developers can assess overall system health and application effectiveness.

CallStatistics captures all events sent to the Windows Event log, thereby ensuring that events of interest to system administrators are always viewable.

The CallStatistics filter captures events from the following categories:

Events in the OperationalMessages category are sent to both the Windows Event log and the Trace log. Events in the CallStatisticsMessages category are sent to the Trace log only.

Note  Enable logging to view any events being sent to the Trace logs, including those defined in this filter.
